Our dearest customers,
We have been privileged to provide our local New Hampshire customers with the finest specialty coffees available. While we have endeavored to keep prices as low as possible, costs are no longer what they were when we launched this endeavor almost five years ago and we have reached a point where we need to standardize some of our processes and production lines.
With this in mind, we have made the decision to follow the model used by most other third wave coffee companies and standardize on a 12 ounce bag for all of our retail packaging. Between increases in our costs across the board (rent, utilities, coffee, etc.) and our commitment to pay a good wage to our employees, we have decided that this is the best course of action to follow.
What does this mean to you?
Mail Order customers: Nothing changes. You will continue to receive your coffee in our 12 ounce retail packaging.
Dover Customers: If you order from the web site and choose local pickup, your coffee will now be packaged in 12 ounce bags. You also have the option to purchase from the retail coffee selection at the cafe where all bags are priced at $14.50 and the selection changes weekly.
Bedford Customers: You are our longest and most committed customers. We've always offered you a 16 ounce bag to make up for the hassle of treking to the roasting plant. We can no longer offer this non-standard size, but to make up for it, we'll give you the chance to purchase one additional bag for $12. The $12 bag will be roaster's choice, but it will be worth it, we promise.
Additionally, in the New Year, we'll be open again in Bedford on Fridays and Saturdays.
