About the farm

This AB Top quality coffee comes from Kiamaina washing station, located on the slopes of the Aberdares mountains in Nyeri, Kenya. Kiamaina is a memeber of the Kiama Farmer Cooperative Society which currently has 335 male members and 140 female members per factory, and collectively spans 130 hectares. The coffee is grown in the rich volcanic soil of the surrounding area, and is pulped, fermented, and fully washed before drying for 2-3 weeks to export moisture level. Coffees contributing to this lot are grown at 1700 masl and consist of SL-28, SL-34, and Ruiru 11 varieties.
