From Our Cupping Lab:
This washed Ethiopian coffee comes from the washing station in Chelchele, located in the Yirgacheffe region. Coffees from this region tend to have a soft sweetness with floral and citrus overtones. The Grade-1 Chelchele is an enzymatic coffee that dances over the tongue with a tart concord grape note at the forefront. What follows is a rich dark cacao flavor that rounds out and balances the cup. As it cools, the coffee gets sweeter and floral like a honeysuckle.
