From Our Cupping Lab:
One of two sibling coffees, the Kabiufa Lot 1 is a complex offering from Papua New Guinea. A gentle but notable honeydew note lends a soft sweetness while a lesser white grape note adds a touch of brightness to the cup. Additional notes of white pepper and hazelnut balance things out while lending another layer of interest.
The Kabiufas are neat because they're both from the same producer (and thus, the same small area), but are pretty distinct from each other, illustrating how much even slight variations at origin can produce different tasting coffees.
