Assam, India is the largest tea-growing region in the world. It is located at or near sea level and enjoys tropical conditions courtesy of heavy rains (as much 10 to 12 inches per day during the monsoon season) and daytime temperatures in the mid 90's. These conditions give Assam teas their unique malty taste. Our English Breakfast Assam is no different, offering a solid tea that can be enjoyed on its own or with milk and sugar in the traditional English way.
